MK6 Golf R Headlight Harness (14 Pin to 10 Pin Conversion)
This harness is designed specifically for MK6 Golf R models originally equipped with factory 14 pin Bi Xenon headlights converting to aftermarket headlights using a 10 pin connector.
Unlike other MK6 models, the Golf R uses a separate bumper mounted DRL configuration. This Golf R specific harness adapts the factory 14 pin headlight wiring to the 10 pin aftermarket configuration while providing the required connections for both the aftermarket headlight and factory bumper DRL.

Important
10 pin aftermarket headlights do not support the factory AFS or automatic headlight leveling functions.
AFS and automatic leveling should be disabled through coding after the conversion to prevent related fault codes.
If these systems are not coded out, AFS related faults may remain stored but do not prevent the basic headlight functions from operating.
Please confirm that your replacement headlights use the 10 pin connector before ordering.
If you are unsure about compatibility, send your VIN along with photos of the factory and replacement headlight connectors and compatibility can be confirmed before ordering.
Why This Harness?
The MK6 Golf R uses a different DRL configuration than other MK6 models, with the factory daytime running lights located in the bumper.
A standard MK6 14 pin to 10 pin conversion harness does not account for this configuration. This Golf R specific harness adapts the aftermarket 10 pin headlights while maintaining the required connections for the factory bumper DRLs.

This is one of the best products by far I’ve put on my car the quality and everything with these harnesses are amazing I bought some mk7.5 headlights for a MK6R and with no Doubt johns harness made them plug and play headlights if you are looking for a simple fix to make your headlights plug and play and have a pdf to know how to code and where to go then these harnesses are for u! I will put a pic of the new headlights on the car!
