Extensive testing of the 14-10 Pin (MQB) harness has revealed a crucial requirement for integrating a circuit, rather than a jumper wire to the BCM as mentioned in my previous post on May 8. This integration is necessary for the operation of high beams in the 10-pin halogen configuration. The current high beam channel lacks the necessary power output to effectively operate aftermarket lights without their respective modules. This limitation exists because the channel is specifically engineered to accommodate an OEM shutter that relies on the factory module within the headlight assembly.
To overcome this issue, a dedicated circuit has been meticulously developed to ensure the proper functioning of the high beams in the 10-pin halogen configuration. This circuit is specifically designed to deliver the required power supply to the shutter, enabling the aftermarket lights to function correctly. By integrating this circuit into the harness, it guarantees that the shutter receives the adequate power it needs, thereby ensuring flawless operation of the high beams.
If you have purchased an older variant of the product and want to ensure the proper functionality of your high beams, we are here to assist you. Please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will promptly provide you with a replacement kit. In addition to the replacement, you will receive revised instructions that outline the necessary steps for coding the harness.
Please take note that the product image will remain unaltered until a finalized version is made available within the next few days. We understand the importance of visual representation, and we are working to provide an updated image that accurately reflects the product.
Additionally, we would like to inform you that there has been a price increase due to the complexity involved in manufacturing and designing this harness. it is necessary to account for the additional resources and expertise required to produce this harness.
