Fitment, Installation & Legal Use
MK6IX harnesses are wiring adapters for retrofitting parts on VW and Audi vehicles. Lighting, emissions and equipment laws vary by country, state and province, and some aftermarket or European-spec lights may not be approved for road use where you live. You are responsible for making sure your vehicle, and any parts installed with our harnesses, meet local laws and inspection requirements.
Installation should be done by someone experienced with automotive electrical systems. Some conversions require coding, such as disabling AFS or headlight leveling. MK6IX is not responsible for damage, fault codes or losses caused by improper installation or coding, or by use with parts outside a product's listed fitment.
Engine and fuel-system harnesses may affect emissions compliance in some regions and are sold for off-road or competition use where required by law.
