This harness is designed specifically for Vland 10-pin headlights. Even though both the car and the headlights use 10-pin connectors, the pinout is not the same. On MQB and PQ platforms, Volkswagen routes the DRL signal differently than Vland does. Without this harness, the DRL circuit will not function correctly.
 
This adapter realigns the DRL signal by bridging factory pins 10 and 4 into Vland’s pin 1, restoring proper DRL operation.

Other Functions: Low beam, high beam, and markers are retained with no changes
Warning Lights:
This harness only resolves the DRL issue
Any other warning faults (bulb-out, resistance, BCM incompatibility) are unrelated and will remain if present
