MK6 Headlight Harness (14 Pin to 10 Pin Conversion)

This harness is designed for MK6 / PQ35 vehicles originally equipped with factory Xenon headlights converting to aftermarket headlights using a 10 pin connector.

Factory Xenon equipped MK6 vehicles use a 14 pin headlight connector, while most aftermarket headlights are designed around the 10 pin halogen style connector. This harness adapts the factory 14 pin vehicle wiring to the 10 pin aftermarket headlight configuration without cutting or splicing the original wiring.

Key Features

• Converts the factory 14 pin Xenon headlight connector to a 10 pin aftermarket headlight connector • Supports low beam, high beam, DRL, and marker light functions where applicable • Plug and play design with no cutting or splicing required • Uses OEM style connectors and the correct automotive wire gauges • Properly sized and sleeved for clean factory style routing

Fitment & Compatibility

• MK6 Golf • MK6 GTI • MK6 Jetta • MK6.5 Jetta / GLI • PQ35 vehicles originally equipped with factory 14 pin Xenon headlights • Aftermarket headlights using the compatible 10 pin connector configuration

Important

Please confirm that your vehicle has the factory 14 pin Xenon headlight connector and that your replacement headlights use the 10 pin connector before ordering.

A separate Golf R specific version of this harness is available for Golf R applications.

Some other Volkswagen / Audi applications may use similar 14 pin connectors but can have different pin configurations.

If you are unsure about compatibility, send your VIN along with photos of the factory and replacement headlight connectors and compatibility can be confirmed before ordering.

Why This Harness?

Factory Xenon equipped MK6 vehicles use a 14 pin headlight wiring configuration that does not directly connect to most aftermarket 10 pin headlights.

This harness adapts the required lighting circuits to the 10 pin configuration while keeping the original vehicle wiring intact, providing a clean and reversible installation.
