MK8 Grille Light Bar Harness

This harness is designed for retrofitting the OEM front grille light bar onto compatible MK8 Volkswagen models.

The harness provides the required wiring between the grille light bar and the Central Electronics Control Module (CECM), allowing the light bar to be integrated into the factory lighting system without cutting or splicing the original vehicle wiring.

Important

Installation requires routing and connecting the supplied wiring directly to the CECM.

VCDS or OBD11 coding is required to activate the grille light bar after installation.

Why This Harness?

Vehicles not originally equipped with the illuminated grille do not have the required wiring in place for the OEM light bar.

This harness provides the required connections between the grille light bar and CECM, allowing the factory lighting system to control the retrofit without cutting or splicing the original vehicle wiring.
