Since 2015, I’ve been designing and building retrofit wiring harnesses specifically for Volkswagen and Audi platforms.

MK6ix started with retrofits on my own vehicles. With a background in electrical engineering and automotive electrical systems, I began developing VAG specific wiring solutions using OEM style connectors, the correct automotive wire gauges, and verified pin configurations based on factory wiring information and real world testing.

Volkswagen and Audi wiring can vary significantly between North American (NAR) and Rest of World (ROW) vehicles, even when the components appear identical. MK6ix harnesses are developed with these differences in mind, including connector configurations, pin assignments, lighting channels, and vehicle specific wiring requirements.

Every MK6ix harness is hand built in Toronto, Canada. Nothing is dropshipped or sold as a generic finished harness. Each product is assembled specifically for its intended VW or Audi application with an emphasis on clean integration and keeping the original vehicle wiring intact whenever possible.

From lighting and seat conversions to fuel system, headlight, and OEM equipment retrofits, the goal is simple: provide the wiring required to make the retrofit work correctly without unnecessary modifications to the factory harness.
